Big Marine Lake and St Croix River Minnesota. 8th July

Decided to try a new mark today on Big Marine Lake which turned out to be a mistake as there was way to much weeds in the water. Did manage to get a few small fish at the edge of the pier. Moved to the St Croix River for a few hours and managed to get a new species for me. Got a Freshwater Drum which is also know as a Sheepshead which measured 44cm. Was caught using a fathead as bait and put up a good fight on 8lb line taking a few dives and stripping line. Ended up with 1 Walleye, 2 Perch, 2 Small Mouth Bass
