St Croix River Minnesota April 18th

Postby nige » Mon Apr 19, 2010 2:44 am

First time fishing since the ice left. Went to one of the local rivers and managed to get 7 fish in just over 3 hours. First fish was a nice walleye of 14inches which had to be put back as walleye season doesnt open for another month. Got 4 perch after that and then another walleye of 11 inches and finished off with another perch. Was a good day cant beat fishing in shorts and tshirt :) lets hope tomorrow morning has more of the same :)
