Ireland Angling Expo 2023

Postby JimC » Thu Feb 02, 2023 12:02 pm

We haven't had an Angling Expo in three years. Both Covid and Brexit have hampered things over recent years.

The 2023 installment is happening on March 4/5 and is now being called: Ireland On The Water Expo

As well as angling they will be a emphasis on all things water. Kayaks, boats etc. will also feature.

The National Show Centre is still not available so to aid with Brexit complications for exhibitors the EXPO is being held in the EKION Centre just outside Belfast (90mins from Dublin I'm being told).

It promises to be an interesting weekend....

Went to it today, not much on the fishing side compared to the old one on the Kings Hall, but plenty of kayaks and boats on show

Yeah, the angling side of things was poor. There was enough small boats to keep me happy.
It's a shame the brands don't get involved on the angling front.
