Basically no bait to be got in Galway, the last remaining tackle shop has nothing frozen dont mind fresh. buying mackeral and prawns in the supermarket is about it.
Galway bay seafoods will have live mussels - and some of the asian shops have cheap boxes of squid
maddies/crab all has to be ordered in
Plenty of places to dig lug around the city in the shallow bays - just look for the casts.
