Hi. Never been float fishing in sea. Tried few times but never had an impression on it. So can you give me any advice? What should I look in the spots to be lucky? What bait you use mostly? How deep are you fishing? What type of floats? What would be distanse from bait to weight?

Hi. Here are a couple of Youtube videos on sea float fishing:
There are plenty more, and similar info in various sea angling books. The float has always been one of my favourite techniques in summer and autumn, not much use in winter and early spring in my experience. Float fishing off rock marks is usually most productive, but when the sea is any way lively, it can be really dangerous, so watch out. Weedy gullies are often fishy hideouts, drop the float and bait just beside the weed patch, not into it, and gently raise and lower the rod tip to give the bait some action. When you get a take, strike it firmly and hold the rod up to stop the fish diving back into the weeds and tangling up your tackle. You'll get the hang of it very quickly. Good luck.
