Anyone having any luck with mackerel from the shore yet this year or is it too early?

I've been trying off Skerries harbour last two nights with no joy, there has been reports of the odd mackerel being caught on a few Dublin marks over the last few weeks though. Sea temp is 14°C so it should be picking up any day now!

Thanks! I might start targeting them myself might be a bit early but there’s surely a few close into shore.

Not one in Greystones last weekend, perfect conditions, rising tide to high tide.
