hi dave. the fabsil is great stuff. i use it to re-waterproof the rucksack every year. another handy tip to make the rucksack more durable and increase it's lifespan was shown to me last year. after a few years of use the arse was frayed and shreadded out of the rucksack. but when i got the new one i put a bucket all the way to the bottom inside it. turned it upside down and used a spatula to give the base of it a coat of AQUASURE. it's the stuff you use to repair waders and boots. it gives it a good tough bottom of protection from jagged rocks
