Squid Time

#1 Post by dexs7 »

Hi Lads

Over the last few years i have caught a few squid in Fenit Usually around mid to the End of August. Some years were better than others but I always look forward to jigging for this species. But now the old lights are gone from fenit bridge and the new lights dont shine into the water. Im wondering will the squid bother to come in around the bridge if there is no light reflecting in the water.

I was thinking of shining a light on the water and use glow in the dark jigs but im thinking they still wont come around due to the lack of light.

Does anybody know much on this topic do the squid only come into places with light? or does anybody know of any other spots I could chance. If you dont want to give away a mark pm please.

Thanks a million in advance for any info
