Beachcaster conversion in Northern Ireland

#1 Post by dave316 »

A friend of mine in work has asked me to find a contact where he can take his rod to be converted with new eyes and reel seat for fixed spool. He bought a multiplier rod/reel combo a few years back, but never bothered to practise casting with it and to be honest doesn't even fish much these days at all. It is a Century rod, possibly he says a tip tornado match or compressor and he wants to just pay someone rather than do it himself and I said I would ask here for him. I don't think location is too much of a problem as we travel the whole country through work.

thankyou

Hi Dave,

Try Village Tackle in Belfast (near forestside). George who works there is a professional rod bulider. I have got him to replace broken rings etc and his work is excellent. I'm sure he could convert the rod for you.

Cheers

Eddie
