breakaway cannon

anyone any first hand experience of the breakaway cannon i have the original grey plastic one they came up with and its fine for up to 3 oz leads but isnt any use for 4oz or over is it worth the money or will i buy a casting clove :?: smoothies are on their way :mrgreen:
anyone recomend a casting glove or finger stall ?

Yes! I have the casting cannon instaled on my Ian Golds Extractor and I use it for braid, they take a little getting use to but once you overcome the inital miscasts and get use to the release timing they are great. :D

Never used the cannon myself, but i have been using the Breakaway Thumb Button for years and would not be without it. Takes a few casts to get used too, but thats the same with an gadget. :D

Back in the time when a Sea Streak was the only multi available I used the thumb finger off a heavy duty rubber glove. Apart from the smell it worked well.
