worm replacement and boat fishing

i fish at donagdehee and i strugle to catch fish. i have been told when i fish at the rails that worm is the best. i dont like using live bait to me its a cheat so what could replace it :?: :?: :?:

i also have a boat and i have gone out on it with feather and caught some fish. ill take any advice bar live bait but if i have to use live bait i will. what should i do :?: :?:

There are plenty of species that will lovingly take a live worm or scavenge for dead remains but,live bait gives vibrational attraction in the water and I'd say that live baiting on the whole is more successful.

I don't understand how using live bait is cheating in any way.You are fishing with the food source that many fish eat.

@corney:ragworm and I think lugworm can be gutted live and frozen

I dont like using hooks either, as its a cheat, but I find my results improve quite dramatically when I do :wink:

lol tys ill take it in but does eny1 no the donagdehhe area well cause i strted fishing in lough erne and im not the best :D :D
