Hi everyone whilst fishing Achill i caught these fish and was wondering on their id pollack or coalfish and dogfish or huss

keem right down the western end, there was some clowns on waveblaster jet ski things so i wasnt expecting much but the mackeral just kept on comming. I tried keel the surfing beach without a bite

and off the pier near corraun for the coalie.

doggie and a pollock to me.look at its lateral line its slightly curved where as a coalfishes is more straight and more whiter or more distingusable.did u try any of them marks i pmed u.if so pm me with info how they fished

Like Al said its a dogfish and a coalie... the lateral line on a pollack has a far more pronounced curvature, another distinguishing feature of a pollack is the underbite which causes the bottom jaw protrude past the top...
