Going up the Wed afternoon, any mackerel showing there, or am I wasting my time?what time is best? what else should i go for?

was up that direction about 2 weeks ago and the macks were running around the head

I had a week in Clare 2 weeks ago. Mack were at black head and closer towards Ballyvaghan (the flats or flags - can never recall the correct name). There were some in New Quay as well
