marks around cahore, wexford

howeya lads,

just lookin for a dig out with some marks around cahore, as i will be staying down there saturday, saturday night and sunday. i was look for maybe a rock mark with a bit of deep water or somewhere with a bit of tide running, have only fished the pier down there,have caught plenty from it but just want too branch out a bit, was told theres a mark called roches point down there? cant find it on a map, anybody no it and what its like i.e what the bottom is like etc? any help much appreciated

could be aka glasscarrig? only roches point iv ever heard of is down with the rebels..

GlassCarrig is a fantastic looking mark.


Went up there last year for a drive to suss it out.
You have a a good rock out crop that gives way to deep water, sand bottom with kelp patches.
To the left then you have a sandy bay which leads on to another Point.

Make sure you go down in daylight if possible at low water and you should see fish holding areas.

i thinlk its roney point and not roches point, but you try down behind the castle down to the right of cahore but the weather on sunday may not suit rock marks in that area
