lads fished portmarnock strand last night always good in an east or north east wind. Pushes in the codling, fished lug and razor and had 3 codling plus a bonus late plaice. must fish at max range clip down 1 hook rigs.
and it will only fish during or just after a good easterly. Put 32 codling and the plaice back kept one for the pan. they were lovely fresh winter fish not like the red codling on other marks. lads if you get some only keep what you really need there scarce nearly non existent now.
