I left my bait bucket unattended after my last comp and when I opened it today it was swarming with tiny maggots and they are all over my cool bag as well . I would use them for coarse fishing bait but can't wait that long . What is the fastest way to kill them?

Jeyes fluid slightly diluted with water.
Went away on hol last year and unknowingly left some sambos in my cool bag, came back and it was riddled with maggots.
Quick soak in Jeyes and there were finished.

Did that improve the flavour of your sambos?

Boiling water and bleech can keep the hum down to a minmium. A cool box is preferable as their much easier to clean. I have to leave my cool bag outside as it stinks up the house.
Earlier in the year the house was been stank out until I eventually tracked down the cause to a sand eel hidden away in a thermos flask.
