does anyone know the phone number of a good supplier of ragworm in the rosslare/kilmore area

Do not know of a local supplier for certain - you could try the main tackle shops in the area (ww.cfb.ie) but you will probably have to go to Wexford Town or possibly all the way to Dublin or Waterford.

With a fork, you can dig them (slowly) on the mussels beds at low water on the Waterford side of the Passage East Ferry (just down from the washing lines on the seaward side of the village).

Ragworm is available from the high street Kilmore Quay, local chap - sorry don't know his number but he dispalys a sign in the street, you will see it as you drive into Kilmore. Rag is also available from Murphys Tackle shop High Street, Wexford Town and another supplier in Duncannon, Eddie Pierce (just out of Hospital for Hernia - so may not be digging again yet) you can get his number from the corner shop opposite the strand tavern in Duncannon itself.
