This
is James Guerin from Cobh, on board Jim Clohessy's boat, the SKUA, with
his first specimen Coalfish, a 24 lb fish taken on a shad on the lask
drift over a wreck off Cork. August 2004.

Neil
Moroney took three Spotted or Homelyn Ray from near Fanad, taken on a
3/0 Pulley Rig with Herring as bait on the last hour of the flood
tide This fish weighed 4 lbs. August 2004.

Here's Stephen McCracken from
Belfast with a nice Tope just under 40 lbs taken on a private boat, the
St Jude owned by John Kehoe. It fell to a mackerel flapper near
Helly Hunter Rocks. August 2004. The fish was returned alive
and well.

Here's Darragh Hughes with a fine Blonde Ray of just over 15 lbs taken just two miles off Bray Head on his
Dad's Boat with a flowing 4 foot trace with a 4/0 hook baited with mackerel.
August 2004. I'm suspecting that this one got battered! :-)
