March Prizewinner!  Its Sean again, this time with just a 20 lb (8 kilo) Coalfish taken off a wreck down in Cork, and taken on a Procast Shad!!! He is back on page 1 with a 27.5 lb Coalfish taken late in 2003. This flounder tipped the scales to just over 1 kilo. Honest! It was taken on crab on the Saleens outside Tramore in Co Waterford on the ebb tide, just below and to the right of the car park in shallow water.  April 2004.
April Prizewinner!  Its flounder time!  This one came off Clones Beach in Waterford and fell to ragworm.  It is Sean O'Neill's first ever sea fish. We are told his uncle devoured it with relish!  Well done Sean!  April 2004. Our first Thornback Ray entry, from Lough Swilly is courtesy of Neil Moroney.  Tipping 2.5 kilos, it was taken on a squid and mackerel cocktail  on the ebb tide using an up and over pulley rig.
May 2004. The brother, Des Hanrahan, fished Keem Bay on Achill with a flattie rig (2 up, 1 down) with ragworm.  As he brought in a fish, the rod got heavier, with the top coalfish topping 3 lbs. Loads of flatfish too. Conor Hamilton., of  Procast, (yes he does fish!) with a nice inshore Pollack taken behind Tory Island on one of his own lures on a gilling boom... just to prove that they do work, like!!!  May 2004.
