Introduction
- Co. Clare - Boats
Clare can offer
you everything in shore fishing, from the latest Irish record Bass, a
mere 17 lb 13 oz taken from the shore at Doonbeg, to Green Island near
Lahinch where Porbeagle and Blue Shark are available from the shore,
to the wild sea cliffs of Black Head where everything is catchable,
and back to the mighty Shannon Estuary where record bearded rockling
rub shoulders with massive packs of thornback and blonde ray... As with all our
trips around the coast by county, we will start nearest the last
county, Limerick and work our way out the Shannon Estuary, round Loop
Head, head up past all those bass beaches towards the towering Cliffs
of Moher, onto Fanore beach and Black Head and east into Galway Bay,
heading for the town of Ballyvaughan...
