Beach fishing.

Fri Oct 10, 2008 3:26 pm

Hi guys, I haven't done any of this type of fishing yet!!

Would anyone be heading out in the Dublin area and have a spare outfit I could try out for a couple of hours?
I would like to try out this form of fishing, before I splash out and get the gear.

I usually only do SWFF.This year I have packed my rods away for the winter, but now i am thinking of investing in a beachcaster and reel.

Obviously I would pay for any bait and tackle I use.
I packed away all my gear because I don't like fishing rocks and piers during the winter. Bad experience last year.

Next Saturday or this Sunday would be best.

You can borrow some gear off me no problem, although other then lure fishing, it'll be a couple of weeks before I get out though I'd say. Where in Dublin are you based?

Living on the south side. Live in Donnybrook anywhere along the dart line would be easy for me to get to.
