There's plenty of Clubs to Choose from:
North Antrim Sea Anglers
Carrick Beach and Rockers
Glengormney and District
Larne and District
If your TOTALLY new to Sea Angling i recommend you spend the Forseable future reading threads on this site, thats how many of us have learned so much.
Better Still, If You're Free on Friday night, Come up to Cushendun beach and meet a few of us... 8)

Hi jg. As I said i am completely new to this, myself and another guy are looking to do a bit of fishing over the winter, and just take it from there. Just about to get a couple of rods each at the minute, any ideas ?

Figure I had in my head was under £100 for rod reel and line, either new or 2nd hand, to get me started. I dont want to spend a lot of money starting out until I get to grips with it. Is this a fair benchmark? :?

Have a look in some tackle shops, i got my first beachcaster and reel all for £55 in Harry McKee's in Bangor, you could try his Belfast Angling Centre too, it was plenty to get me going and learn the basics.

I would also recommend belfast angling,. They are great fella's and will talk away to ya and get you set up with some good gear for the price.
Neil in bradels (Belfast city centre) is also sound and really knows his stuff.
