Postby pookie 5488 » Tue Sep 27, 2005 11:51 am

I am putting the 14th of the mnth a fri forward for next meet other possibles are the 15th also.

Ron and kissmywrasse to pic mark this time.

Put ideas online for dates and place let the lads pic were?

My choice is for the fri the 14th and place would be any rock mark with soft bottom and fish lol.

come on lads lets get sorted and if we can get more than 9 people all the better. sort early so we can arrange transport for the non drivers

Sounds like a plan.

Hopefully I will be able to make it to this one too.

park down bath street portrush - behind the row of shops like flying tackle ,phils amusements etc.then basically walk down over the grass onto the rocks between the countryside centre to your left and the big house on the shoreline to your right.pretty much normal beachcasting gear required for fishing out onto the sand, something a bit heavier if u wanna have a go at congers in closer in the rougher ground.
beachcaster should be able to tell us all best tide etc to go for....?

low water around 21-00 so in comeing after that.this is going by easy tide.as big phill says ordinary beach gear or something a little stiffer if you are congering.

tide time comes from easytide, plenty of room at the blue pool bring your new toys we will put you at the side we aren,t fishing at.the bottom is mainly sand but there are places where it could be dirty.species to expect dogs, dabs, whiting ,gurnard and conger.
