Gang of us from Galway Bay SAC are planning an outing on Sat 6th October. We are getting dropped out by one of the charter boats to an island in the inner bay that is a noted mark for thornbacks, bull huss, conger and doggies.
There are a few places left if anyone is interested. Boat leaves at 9 and returns about 5 to pick us up. 20 quid each to include boat and barbecue - Ray does a mean sausage roll :)
If anyone is interested please pm me for details.

The island isn't too far out, there are so many islands anyway that the inner bay is very sheltered, no chance of the weather scuppering plans. The skate festival is on this weekend too and the boats will be going out a good bit further for that...

Think its Inisgort, the one with the lighthouse. Trip still open to anyone else who wants to come along.... the boat can do 2 runs we have 11-13 already can take another 9-11 if anyone is interested

Your killing me here lads, I'd love to but the sprog which has to be male still hasn't put in an appearance, typical irish young fella not wanting to leave its mother.....who gets crankier every day......

Pete, do what my oul fella did - go out and cut the grass, and make her walk around after you picking it up. She went into labour half an hour later. Don't think he's ever been let forget that one...
