Introduction - Co. Louth

Louth has two main population centres in Drogheda and Dundalk but does not have the same angling pressures as you find in Dublin or its environs. In fact boat fishing off Co. Louth is largely undiscovered and unexploited. Finally, thanks to Conor Hamilton in Procast Angling, we have tracked down one or two boats based around Carlingford Lough (a lively spot itself).

Licensed for 12 passengers by Department of Marine and also by RYA and MCA on the Northern side, it is Based at Greencastle at the mouth of the lough, we also depart from Carlingford.
