People:Just me

Duration: 2.15 -4.30

Tide:In at 4

Weather:A microclimate of torrential rain

Bait: Tasmanian Devils

Rigs: Spinning

Results: 5 Shad

Report: This was meant to be a picnic, with a little bit of fishing. It was glorious in Dublin when we left (and also in Kilkenny and Wexford all day long..), but when we arrived in St Mullins it was raining heavily. I decided to try a bit of spinning at the car park, and soon had one shad. It was the apparent that the rain was not going to stop, so the rest headed off. I moved up towards the lock. I caught 4 more , and dropped 2 at the bank.
