Courtesy of John Higgins off the
forum, after a long wait to finish the roll of film! A fine Bull Huss around the 9.5 lb mark (4 kilos) from Ballygannon, taken
in Novemeber 2004. It fell to a mackerel bait that was legered
out, a few hours before dark in anticipation of a Tope!

Bill Ryan's back! He took this
fine 5 kilo Thornback Ray from the renowned Poulnasherry Bay in
Clare. An early contender for our competitions, it was taken on
Paddy's Day on 7
kilo on a 1 hook paternoster holding 4/0 Mustad baited with six
sandeels!

Here is another nice pollack (1.5 kilos) taken on
sandeel legered using a rotten bottom rig - note no lead on the rig's return! I was fishing 12 kilo line
straight through on a Penn 535
and a Vendetta rod, i.e. my rough ground set-up. Mar 05.
