Tide size

Hi all fishing the dingle, Tralee area Sept in previous years we have always fished the bigger tides after last year's fishing which was poorest we have experienced in years so with that in mind would the height of the tide make a big difference, I know in our area of South Wales the larger tides are better would this apply here thanks in advance for your replies
