Help me plan a trip this Friday!

Hi lads, hope all well. I have been remiss in my sea fishing of late, I have gone over to the dark side and am throwing bits of feather at little trout all the time!

However I realise that there is a big set of tides coming, coinciding with settled weather and September is always a good month - so I am going to hit a bit of bass fishing, on the lures. This Friday evening and night are free for me.
My conundrum is, I have a rock mark in West Waterford that was advised to me by a contact. I don't know what tides it fishes best in, but seeing as high tide is at 8pm and coincides with falling light, I think I will fish this rock mark coming up to high tide.

My question is, I want to fish on into darkness on the ebb tide. Should I be looking at fishing open beaches in the area? Or should i stick to the rock marks.

That's a very broad question I know. Any and all advice welcome! PMs are fine too if there is info you don't want shown publicly. All info treated confidentially!
