Surf Fishing For Bass With Lures

Hi, I am new to the bass fishing on the lures.I found a sandy big beach which i have been told there is good for lure fishing, And i was looking for any tips and advice any one could give me.

Wade out till waist deep then cast parallel to the shore and keep moving till ye find them
