Lambay and Portrane

Postby keem » Wed Sep 16, 2020 5:22 pm

Fished about half way between the island and towers on portrane. Dropping tide 3hours and flood tide 2 hours. Got 1 tope about 35 -40 lb but got off while lifting into boat. Nice bull huss about 9 or 10 lb too and about 10 dogs. Plenty of mackeral all day some full houses prob about 50 so gutted and frozen for next sessions. Rigs were 5/0 circle hooks which have never let us down and almost always hooked in jaw scissors. 200lb mono traces.
Too many lures ... not enough time...
