Broadstrand, Courtmachserry

Postby RKMG » Tue Aug 11, 2020 9:03 am

Hi All,

I will be down in Courtmacsherry staying near Broadstrand Beach next week and was wondering if the beach is suitable for lure fishing for Bass if anyone has any tips or if there is anywhere which might be more suitable? Will hopefully have a few hours free so just want to make the most of it!!

Thanks in advance

You will get them at the rocks at broadstrand and the surrounding areas.

great thanks for that, is it worth ever wading in the beach? I assume standard bass lures will work?

I wouldn't see why not but up there I normally pack light and keep mobile. Personal preference really.

I will be up there Saturday from a
boat and maybe friday evenin from the shore. Will let ya know what happens.

Bumped into a bass angler today who showed me pic's of broadstand and the strand above it, was full of algea, looked like soup to be honest. Fingers crossed it clears up for your trip.
