Just joined rush sailing club, any local anglers on here?

I have just joined rush sailing club, is there any members or local anglers on here? I have made 2 trips out now in my warrior 165 really just to try out the slipway and get used to the channel but had some mackerel, a good few red gurnard and some pollock so all in all not too bad so far. I'm really just looking to get in contact with some local boat anglers to get some tips or a couple of marks in and around lambay or further north towards rockabill or south towards howth and irelands eye.

Not sure if there is any on here that fish your area.... It can take time for the boat anglers to react!

Yes my uncle is a member of Rush sailing club and I am his deck hand, we launch from the club and fish out over Lambay, the Rockabill lighthouse and the Skerries islands. If it is big fish you are after, you can get tope & bull huss at anchor out from the towers of the Portrane hospital! We are also members of Loughshinny Sea Angling Club, we have boat competitions every second Sunday! I can PM you details if you would like to join?
