Has anyone ever fished off the pier for flatties or bass ?

Private property no trespassing allowed!!

The channel is full of moorings around the harbour, plus the tidal run is fairly quick along that stretch.
Avoid the pier and inner estuary if your after bass or flats, the mouth of the channel is prob you best option.
