Ok, so how many members are coming?
We will be starting around 11am (in Fairyhouse-racecorse) and will run untill about 5-ish, park in the carpark and stay to the left as you approach the actual track, directions will be well sign-posted all the way out to the court which is about 500yds from the carpark, there will be "no driving" out on to the court so anything you need has to be carried across, ie- beach-buddys/umberellas - rods/and tripods,,etc.
There will be a wealth of casting and reel tuning wisdom on hand for all members to take advantage of with the return of some former members of the old club along with some new tallented faces.
I think everyone knows what they need to bring along by now,
but if your not sure just ask...

First meet.

There is a huge open-air market in fairyhouse every Sunday this might and some confusion to lads as to where to park and meet, do we go to the normal car park,or do we have a special one off the main car park. Also there are chip burger vans at the market if lads need something to eat so no need for sandwiches.

kstaff will be speaking to the organisers today to finalise the details and post them up here so all can see, as far as i know we go to the enterance and will be given a pass then head to the normal car park and stay left, i will have signs up to direct everyone down, it would be good to have an idea of the numbers attending just to let the organiser know in advance...
Looks like its going to be a bit damp so dont forget the rain gear.
Really looking forward to it now and i hope to see as many members as possible there

Ok, we will be starting at 11am sunday morn, there will be passes given to casters as they arrive, im not sure about spectators as to weather they will have to pay in but its only E2 as far as i know, anyone wishing to come along just to have a look are more than welcome and dont be shy if you have "Q"s just ask we are more thean willing to lend a hand and give any advice needed. Once inside the ground at the track stay left as you approach the actual race track "walk" only across the designated crossing area to the left hand side of the inner area it sould all be sign posted and we should be visable once inside, hope to see/meet all the new members at whats promising to be the start of Irish casting for many a year.
Bring it on,,,
