SportsCastIreland Casting Venue Confirmed!!!!

Postby kstaff » Fri Aug 31, 2007 4:50 pm

Hi All,

just to let you very paient people know that we have confirmed the use of a venue for Sportscast Ireland. Fairyhose Racecouse!!!!

After several let downs, knock backs and various other issues we have a green light. The venue is perfect for our needs and not too far for most people to travel. We will have 2 options for casting days Saturday or Sundays, ( decided by the commitee) whichever suits. We will try confirm an exact date over the weekend but it will be before the end of September. Possibly the 23rd of Sep.

This has taken longer than initally expected so many thanks for all your paitence! Our first meet will be more of an introduction session so we can all get an idea of what will be involved and how best to proceed with tuition, format etc. Every level will be catered for so no pressure on anyone! Plenty of expert help will be on hand.

Paddy C and others have put alot of hard work and money into making this happen so big thanks to him! He's on a well deserved holiday!

If there are any others wishing to join, nows the last chance, you cannot show up pay and cast on the day, it won't happen.

Finally can anyone who has not received their membership card send me a PM ASAP.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask,

Thanks again and see you all soon, updates will be on this post!

ps: there are a number of people heading to the event in 2 weeks up North it's a really well run event and is well worth the trip if anyone is going. Lee from the Ulster Casting Club has all the details.
