pendelum casting

Postby lumpy » Wed Oct 25, 2006 1:04 pm

because i havnt been able ta get much time fishing in the last month ive been doing alot of work in my casting technique. i'm jus wondering when the rod is coming forward after being compressed at what angle to the ground should it be. i tend to be about 50 degrees to the horizontal while also using alot of shoulder/upper thorso rotation and alot of my casts go to the right (i'm right handed).

thought it might be that i'm releasing spool pressure premiturely but also that the rod is travelling at too shallow an angle. i can reach about 200yds in a field wit a 150 gram

any help would be much appreciated
