Kirl and myself fished the sand in Donegal Bay wednesday 7th July.Plenty of mackerel in the Bay. none close to the shore. Tried for thornbacks no success. Weather got a bit blowey,
so came into just off the Castle fag about 500mtrs North from Creevy Pier. Plenty of good Dabs on fresh mackerel also dogs. Where we were catching the dabs was in casting range from the Castle rock.We have never cast there ourselves. we have only seen anglers spinning for pollock there. Nest outing will be casting for Dabs.
