Don't know about this time of year but fished a kayak competition there last summer. Spent some time fishing tied to the pier and it was stuffed with blenny's, gobies, scorpions, Ballan and Corkwing wrasse, sand smelt and I'd a strap conger in a pot I'd put out for crabs for smoothies. The rest of the time was outside casting distance, I'd 16 species in 2 days including bass over the reef a few hundred meters north.

I fished it a lot when I was a kid. Winter time it was whiting whiting and more whiting. Used to get some keeper size there too. Had some keeper sized codling as well. (This was about 30 years ago though). Had some decent congers as well, although that was before the pier was rebuilt after a winter storm in the early 90s
