Garfish or Neddlefish as bait?

Has anybody here used this for bait, any good? What fish do you catch on them?

2013 species:
seatrout,plaice,dogfight,wrasse,Pollack,thornback ray,spotted ray,red gurnard,tompot blenny,sandeel,herring,mackerel....

mostly try it for thornback ray and huss but i am sure it would take tope. it has its day. smaller species should take it but i haven't given it a fair trial for them yet. it should work as a sight bait in clear water as it really catches the light.

Thanks! Lots of this fish here in Sligo atm brilliant to catch them on lure. Must stock some for winter fishing.

they are cool to catch. they should work well for whiting through the autumn/winter.

Ha have got a few gar in freezer as standby bait to try out never thought much about really using it.
