Just wondering has anyone had success lure fishing for bass from Ballydwan strand Waterford. I've caught bass here using bait, but blanked here everytime with lures.
Tried every lure that ever worked for me in good lure fishing conditions on numerous occasions without a sniff of a bite.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried at night? Only occasion I ever caught a bass on a lure in Waterford was an hour after sunset. Great session ensued with two local lads...

Hi Kieran.
Thanks for the reply.
I've tried at night and day on various tides and conditions with no luck, yet I've caught bass on marks either side of Ballydwan.
My dad is 74 and likes to tag along for a bit of lure fishing every now and again but the marks I fish to the east and west require a hike through fields or a bit of a climb so the strand is easily accessible, which is why we keep trying it.
