When posting a report it might help others if you mention what part of the tide you were fishing at.

Fished corbawn/shankill below the cliffs last night not a tap on feathers, lures ,metals from 6.30pm -10pm high water at 8pm , seas flat calm, nice evening small bit of weed ..
Sunday 14th July The castle Kilkee, early morning, the most beautiful morning ever, hour and half after high tide. 3 fishing, after 40 minutes guy, professional looking with 9 feathers on, caught 4 mackerel on one cast, all good size. Guy in middle caught 3, I caught 3 good size pollock, swapped them for 3 mackeral. All fish caught at same time. No more fish caught after about an hour went home. Had good breakfast.
Fished a rock mark in East Cork from low through to high tide yesterday. A Rockling on baut and a Pollockon a kilty, but no Mackeral. Tried all the reliable lures and even the no hoper lures but conclude they were not around the area.
16/7/19 early morning rising tide, about 30 mins before high tide and 40 Mins after. Overcast, light offshore breeze. Kilkee again, out around Bridges of Ross, access difficult, nothing first 20 or so casts, changed to light rod and single lure, then one fair size mac, changed to 8 feathers and heavy rod 6 macs lost two on way up, good fishing for about 10 casts 2 dozens macs caught then no more. Location has very rought bottom you can’t really leave the lead go to the bottom.
A few going but still very slack compared to last year so far in West Waterford alright but only very early in the morning and late evening (8pm onwards) very slack results from the boat too

No mackerel along Sutton towards Baily lighthouse, I fished the telegraph pole beyond RedRock beach, LionsRock also and. Howth harbour. Early morningand evening, used feathers, hokkais and spinners. The water was thick with bait fish but no other signs of fish at all. I haven't seen a mackerel being caught around the bay in a couple of years, very dissapointed.
