Lough donnell clare

Postby corbyeire » Mon May 14, 2018 10:46 pm

was out sunday 3hrs up to HW, some swell but looked great as those clare beaches always do for spikey fellas
needless to say after a 5 year hiatus i wont be going back for a while - not a bite
few decent bits of nets in the water pulled the two rods and tripod in the water

warped a few eyes and smashed a bail arm but got it back after a good soaking

any joy there for anyone in recent times - pms most welcome

cracked off on first cast over the weekend, hair line crack on the inside of new rod tip that i did not notice from my clare trip - it just keeps on giving lol

there could have been nets in the past but maybe the recent swells had smashed them up into 1 to 2 metre pieces

the angling gods evened things up a bit after that this weekend - you just have to keep at it
