Sunday March 5th 2017 Slaughterhill

Only a mad dog and castermen got out on Slaughterhill this weekend. A big SW which swung W and eventually NW carrying frequent icy showers and a -3c wind chill forced a court change whilst suffering from hyperthermia.
The court was thus uphill which meant losing any extra distance the strong wind, now behind us, advanced. The ground was also soaked from heavy overnight rain guaranteeing a slippery mud-fest at the ockey.
Despite all this we braved the elements and survived.

One of the coldest days I have ever had up there, once that wind changed across the court it just got bitter.. Roll on the summer!
Great crack as usual and fair play to Ger knocking out a few great casts...
