Am new to this, so please make allowances for me! Is there a preferred tide condition or can
mackerel be caught on any tide? For example, can they be caught on an outgoing tide?
Many thanks for any help

Either side of high water work for me. Late evening seems to add to your catch rate

Under this heading in Shore Reports, it shows that I did not thank anyone for help they gave me. It also
shows that I did not thank anyone for any of the posts that I have made since I joined on the 7th August 2015.
I just want to set the record straight and say that I have thanked everyone who replied to my postings and am
grateful to them.

Doesn't really matter ,once the water has a bit of depth

This is peak mackerel time here on the south coast. Off harbour walls and rock marks you may just catch them at any time!
