hard times ahead

Postby donal domeney » Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:14 pm

A lazy day today so took the grandson to the pier at Kells bay for his first shore session. I did have him out on a few casting lessons and he was managing about 20/30 yds. Looking forward to teaching him how to dig bait
A big thank you to Dan at The Halfway http://www.tackledirectireland.ie/ for a great deal for the lads rod and reel

It was a good day for fishing out the back of the jeep. His first cast and he ends up with a doubler a flounder an a dab. Two fish and he's telling ME how to do it.

Pupil beating the teacher is not the way it's meant to go. I'm writing it off as beginners luck

Dig bait? If you teach him to drive too you'll be able to get a few drinks in you during your beach sessions...
