People:Me & Bigcol

Duration:9-30 to 19.30

Tide: High: 10.58 / 3.5m , Low: 17.31 / 1.7m

Weather:Sunny

Bait:Mack well i got 1 col had 11

Rigs:

Results:Quite a few thornbacks to 15lb (Colm's guestimate, scales saib 8lb  ) 2 Tope 35lb & 30lb dogs, Flounder

Report: Had real struggle to find mackeral, eventually got a dozen, well Colm did! so we were on rations for the Tope fishing and definetly no rubby dubby today! could have had some good pics of Colm from this trip but he says he is not going fishing with me again if i keep posting pics on here
You can see it now red as a lobster from the sun, I bring this Tope alongside the boat, Colm offers to bring it in, then the wrestling starts, now Colm has Topeburns on top of sunburn - sore or what!
Anyway not to worry you can all have a laugh at me this week with the funny hat on!

bad hats

Postby bigkev » Mon Jun 05, 2006 2:38 pm

Having lost a couple of good quality hat over the side while motoring, I only wear bad hats now (style and quality)
I think they should be "de rigeur" on all small boats

Good fishing Sean. Out of Kilrush on saturday, we also couldnt come across any mackerel and that kind of stuffed our tope trip

Tight lines and bad hats rule!
