The Maidens

Postby stevie rea » Mon May 22, 2006 9:08 pm

Launched the boat at Ballylumford slip and steamed towards the Maidens. The water was nice and calm and there was a bit of sun-shine. Fishing was non-stop, pollock.. coalies.. pollock.. coalies all day. Was having fun with them on feathers for ages then changed to a flowing trace to target the bigger ones. At first i had a black jelly worm on and was getting shy bites, then changed to a bright orange jelly worm.. and landed a 5lber. The avrage fish was about 2 1/2 to 3lb... Not bad aiiiiiiiiii!!!!!
