Postby BigPhil » Sat Mar 25, 2006 9:39 pm

People:me, uel , colin , gannon

Duration:9am - 4pm

Tide:very strong!!

Weather:south westerly wind, slight chop, sun and drizzle

Bait:mack, launce, sandeel, squid, rag, trout, coalie, whiting

Rigs:either skate or spurdog rigs

Results:quite a few spurs to double figures best went 13lb, 1 lsd and a few lost fish due to tide strength

Report:decent day with two spurs of specimen size being caught, mine dropped off at the side of the boat though!!!
at the end we called it a day due to the tide picking up so much we werent holding bottom with 4lb lead! 4 knots of tide going through it !
still had fish caught in it like that but lost them once you reeled them into the worst of the tide in the top 30m.
looking forward to the next day out with sean for another workout!!!!
