[b]Duration 1300 to 1600 hrs

[b]Tide either side of high

[b]Weather Fine F2

[b]Bait Big feathers and roe

[b]Rigs Feathers baited and unbaited

[b]Results: Pollack, heavy with roe and numerous spurdogs. Few fish around as area was recently trawled. Fish caught were found at 'high' rocky marks.

Peter. What were the spurs taking and were they any size. thanks geo P.s. nice to hear someone,s getting out.

Spurs were in the 6 to 10 lbs range. Was using a rig with a feather on top and baited hook below. I bounce this very gently along the bottom. On the lower hook, which is on a longish snood, I tied some roe. This is a very soft bait and does not last too long, but very effective. Would not normally kill fish for this bait but took pollack for neighbours. I gut and clean at sea.
